When: July 8–11, 2026
Where: Palais des congrès de Montréal, 159 Rue Saint-Antoine Ouest, Montréal, Québec, Canada, H2Z 1H2
The ISSCR Annual Meeting is the world's preeminent gathering for stem cell research and regenerative medicine, bringing nearly 3,500 academic and industry leaders to Montréal for four days. The 2026 program spans five scientific themes — from clinical applications and disease modeling to engineering biology — and serves as a vital catalyst for international collaboration, new partnerships, and the translation of discovery into regenerative medicine.
Why we'll be there
Stem cell research has a representativeness problem. The cell lines, biobanks, and clinical cohorts that underpin regenerative medicine often reflect only a fraction of the world's populations — which means the therapies built on them may not serve everyone equally. Closing that gap is not only a question of justice; it's a question of scientific validity.
Scikoop works directly with research teams and organizations to address diversity gaps, reduce research bias, and build community-aligned methodologies — so that discovery translates into care that reaches the people who need it.
Let's connect
If you're attending ISSCR this July, we'd love to meet. Whether you're a researcher, an industry team, or a patient association, we can explore how to work together to:
- Measure and improve the representativeness of your cohorts, cell lines, and datasets
- Surface and reduce bias in study design and recruitment
- Build research practices that are aligned with the communities your work aims to serve
